First an update on my brother:
Last I heard he had woken up from his first surgery, where they replaced one of his vertebrae with a titanium plate, but were waiting to see if they needed to do a second surgery. He still can't move or feel anything below his shoulders. Please keep praying!
Secondly with all the bad news yesterday we forgot to post anything about our day...We had a pretty exciting day. We got the day off from school and tagged along with the team to Antigua, for some lunch and shopping.
We found a LARGE grocery store and went crazy buying food that is hard to find in Solola. Like cacahuette (peanut butter!) and jelly!

Our roommate Jenni and her boyfriend Aaron joined us in our adventure. Aaron about passed out, and Jenni almost left after the first 30 seconds. But in the end all our tattoos looked great
Just incase you want to know this is what we did today.
OOPS... Hope broke both a glass and the light within our 30 minute lunch break. However it forced us to sweep our entire apartment, and now it is very clean :)
The Manna kids got to swim after lunch, we couldn't join them...because we were sweeping.
We helped paint the lines in la concha (the sports field)
And then we played with our favorite kids.

Em & Hopahh- I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I was so worried when Kristen called and told me about it. I have been thinking lots about it though, and I am hoping and praying for him to heal fast! Sorry I haven't been in touch, I didn't end up bringing my computer to Vail with me so now I am on the hotel's computer. But, regardless of the bad news, I LOVED today's post. So glad you guys decided to get tattoos. Thats awesome, I was smiling the whole time I read that :) It looks like you guys are having beyond a blast. But I miss you lots. I've been thinking lots about you guys, and I love you both so much!
