We finally got a chance to go and have a traditional Guatemalan meal. The Patlan's know a lady in Solola that is willing to cook traditional meals for their teams that come in. So we took a tuk-tuk to her house. We got to learn how to make tortilla's, see how most Guatemalan's live and eat a delicious homemade meal!

| This is a typical kitchen. A fire on the floor is where they prepare their meals. |

| Our meal: a cup of broth, rice, fried chicken, tortillas, and bananas for dessert! |
