Today was quite a spectacular day.  We were able to get an early start on our day and take a boat ride from Panajachel to Santiagos.  While we were in Santiagos we shopped around, sat in on part of mass in a beautiful church, and thought about taking a canoe back to Pana..however we decided to save that adventure for another day(seeing as though it will probably take us around 10 hours.)  We arrived back in Pana and started shopping for our food.  We ended up with some tortillas, rice, veggies, fruit, and milk...and are hoping it will last for quite some time! As we finished up at the market and sat down for lunch we realized that the food portions here are HUGE!! Emily and I split a plate and still were not able to finish it all but it made for a delicious dinner!  While we were in Pana we decided we HAD to go back to Solomon's porch where we stayed 2 years ago.  As we continued to shop around town we were reunited with Louis!  A translator who worked with us on our missions trip two years ago.  He had his friend give us about a 45 minute tour of Pana in a tuk tuk and we then agreed that our next tour will be on a motorcycle.  The children here are just adorable! We were able to spend the afternoon playing with them and holding cute little 4month old babies.  It is currently only 8:30 here but feels like it's 2 hours later; I'm assuming we will be going to bed very early every night.  So...good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight!

I WILL MISS YOU ALL!

Our Humble Abode

We are living in an apartment of sorts on the grounds of Eagle's Nest with a girl named Jenny. We don't know how long Jenny is staying, but as long as she is here the two of us will be snuggled in one bed. The water comes and goes, and someone stole all our pots and pans and silverware, but it is home sweet home to us!

Snoozing in an ENO

We had an 8 hour layover in Houston...but not to worry we put our ENO's up and slept happily! Until they started vacuuming under neath us at 3 am. Luckily we had our airport mom to wake us up in time to catch our flight! We don't really know who she was, or how she found us, but she was very concerned that we had a long way to walk to our next gate so she got us up at 5... no worries we made it to our gate with 3 hours to spare. Thanks Airport Mama!

Here are some photos in the airport... I think they could win the ENO photo contest.
